Easy No-bake Energy Bars

If you are looking for an easy and versatile recipe for energy bars then you just found it!

These bars are delicious, quick and easy to make. They are perfect for breakfast or for a midday snack! They can also work well for a snack for kids to take along to school.


1 and 1/2 cup oats

1cup quinoa pops (optional) or granola

1 ripe banana mashed

1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips

1/2 cup almond butter or tahini or peanut butter or hazelnut butter

1/3 cup line seeds

2 tablespoons chia seeds

1/2 cup honey or agave syrup or maple syrup

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup shredded coconut

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla beans


Mash the banana at the bottom of the mixing bowl this way the rest of the ingredients will not stick to the bottom. Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well with your hands. Lay a piece of baking tray in a rectangle shaped tin and pour in the mixture pressing it with your hands to spread it evenly in the tin. Put it in the freezer for and hour to set. Remove from the tin and cut into bars. Wrap them in some cling film or baking paper and store in the fridge.
